Treatment Questions.

Anti-wrinkle Treatments

What are anti-wrinkle treatments, and how do they work?   +

Anti-wrinkle treatments are a purified protein that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. At Renewed Radiance, we focus on delivering subtle, natural-looking results, ensuring you look refreshed and not “frozen.”

How long do the results last for anti-wrinkle treatments?   +

Results typically last 3–4 months, though this can vary based on individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.

Will the treatment hurt?   +

The treatment involves a series of small injections, which most clients describe as a slight pinch. We prioritise your comfort and use techniques to minimise any discomfort.

What should I expect after the treatment?   +

You can return to your daily routine immediately. Mild redness or swelling at the injection site is common but subsides within a few hours. Full results appear within 7–14 days.

Skin Boosters

What are skin boosters, and what do they do?   +

Skin boosters are ideal for skin rejuvenation. These injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, and create a glowing, revitalised appearance. Unlike fillers, they work on improving skin quality rather than adding volume.

Who is a good candidate for skin boosters?   +

If you have dull, dehydrated skin, fine lines, or simply want a radiant, youthful glow, skin boosters are perfect for you.

How long do the results last?   +

At Renewed Radiance, we use premium products that can deliver results lasting 6–12 months. Individual results may vary based on skin type and lifestyle.

What areas can be treated?   +

We commonly treat the face, neck, décolletage, and hands to rejuvenate and hydrate.

Microneedling

What is microneedling, and how does it benefit the skin?   +

Microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin, triggering your body's natural healing process. This boosts collagen production, which aids skin rejuvenation, reduces fine lines, and improves the appearance of acne scars, pigmentation, and uneven texture.

Does microneedling hurt?   +

Most clients report only mild discomfort during the procedure.

How many treatments will I need?   +

For optimal results, we recommend a course of 3–6 treatments spaced 14-21 days apart, depending on your skin's needs and goals.

What is the downtime?   +

You may experience mild redness and sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn, for 24–48 hours. With proper aftercare, this resolves quickly.

Platelet Rich Plasma

What is PRP, and why is it so popular?   +

PRP therapy uses your own blood to extract platelets rich in growth factors. These are then injected into your skin to promote collagen production, improve skin tone, and enhance healing. It's a natural, innovative treatment for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration.

What conditions can PRP treat?   +

PRP is effective for improving fine lines, skin texture, and scarring, as well as stimulating hair growth for clients experiencing hair thinning or loss.

Is PRP safe?   +

Yes, PRP is extremely safe as it uses your own blood, reducing the risk of allergic reactions or complications.

When will I see results?   +

Most clients notice initial improvements within 3–4 weeks, with continued enhancements over the next few months as collagen production increases.

 Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers, and how do they work?   +

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments made from hyaluronic acid; a substance naturally found in the body. They add volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours for a youthful, refreshed appearance.

How long will my results last?   +

Results last 6–18 months, depending on the type of filler used and the area treated. During your consultation, we'll discuss the best options for your needs.

Are fillers safe?   +

Absolutely. When administered by our qualified practitioners, dermal fillers are safe and effective. Temporary swelling or bruising may occur but resolves quickly with proper aftercare.

What areas can be treated with dermal fillers?   +

Common areas we enhance include:

  • Lips for added volume or definition
  • Cheeks to restore lost volume
  • Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
  • Jawline and chin for sculpting and definition

Will my results look natural?   +

At Renewed Radiance, we are dedicated to providing high quality and ethical aesthetics in Needham Market. We prioritise natural-looking enhancements that complement your unique features. Our goal is to subtly enhance your beauty, never overdo it.

Laser Hair Removal

What is laser hair removal, and how does it work?   +

Laser hair removal uses light energy to target the pigment in hair follicles. The light is converted to heat, which damages the follicle, inhibiting future hair growth.

How should I prepare for my laser hair removal session?   +

Avoid waxing, plucking, or electrolysis for 4–6 weeks before treatment. Shave the area to be treated 24–48 hours beforehand and avoid sun exposure. Also avoid the sun, and do not apply any makeup or lotion beforehand.

Does it hurt?   +

While laser hair removal used to be quite painful, our ICE SHR (Super Hair Removal) provides effective and virtually pain-free hair removal.

Can I shave between sessions?   +

Yes, shaving is fine between sessions, but avoid waxing or plucking, as these methods disrupt the hair follicle.

How many treatments will I need?   +

This is dependent on the type of hair and its density. You should expect to achieve a smooth finish in 6-8 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
